Departments and Programs

The College of Arts and Sciences is the academic heart of the University of Oregon. It provides a nucleus of liberal arts studies for the entire university, with 45 undergraduate majors and 39 Ph.D. programs, within:

Sixteen departments and programs in the Humanities
Fourteen departments and programs in the Social Sciences
Nine departments and programs in the Natural Sciences
