Research Interests: coastal and high-latitude physical oceanography, fjord and estuarine circulation, numerical ocean modeling, ice-ocean interactions
My research investigates circulation dynamics and submarine melt in Greenland outlet glacier fjords using both numerical ocean models and coupled ocean-glacier observations. Understanding how the ocean controls mass loss from the Greenland Ice Sheet is critical for predicting global sea level rise.
