My research interests include race and ethnicity, intersectionality, political sociology, life course, and health and illness. My dissertation research uses qualitative methods to examine the experience of off-time illness, focusing on young adults with cancer. My Master’s paper explores the death industry’s attempt to incorporate sustainable alternatives.
