Hands-On Learning Scholarship» | CAS Scholarships»
The College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite undergraduate students to apply for scholarships to support them in pursuing experiential learning opportunities. The scholarship will provide financial support of up to $5,000 to assist students in completing an unpaid internship, research opportunity, or service-learning experience. Preference will be given to applicants with financial need, as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships. We will consider assistance for paid internships where the case can be made that the compensation will not be adequate to cover living expenses.
The College of Arts and Sciences provides a significant number of donor-supported scholarships to CAS students. Typical award amounts range from $1,000 - $5,000.
** The application for 2024-2025 CAS scholarships and fellowships is now open. Please log in to the UO Scholarship Dashboard to begin your application. You will first be required to complete the General Application, then the CAS Application will appear in your Opportunities. The CAS application deadline is March 1, 2024. **
Distribution of 2024-2025 scholarships will begin in Fall 2024. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and be enrolled in a degree-seeking program in the College of Arts and Sciences at the UO during the term(s) they are receiving scholarship funds. A list of CAS academic departments can be found here. In some cases, scholarships provide awards to multiple recipients.
