CAS Celebrates Excellence in 3rd Annual Ceremony
2026 Outstanding Research Awards announced
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Outstanding Research Awards, which highlight notable research activities taking place at the University of Oregon. College of Arts and Sciences recipients include Lauren Hallett, associate professor of environmental studies and biology, for the Mid-Career Award; and Christopher Minson, the Kenneth M. and Kenda H. Singer Endowed Professor of physiology, for The Senior Career Award.
Eight faculty members receive Distinguished Teaching Award
Eight University of Oregon instructors across campus were celebrated for their remarkable work in the classroom. Among the winners, half are in the College of Arts and Sciences: Alison Carter, associate professor anthropology; Katelyn McDonough, assistant professor anthropology; Anne Mannering, assistant teaching professor and director in psychology; and Courtney Thorsson, associate professor of English.
