There are three ways to join the drop-in queue to meet with a College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) advisor. Select the option below that best suits your needs right now.
In Person: Tykeson Hall Visit the front desk located on the first floor of Tykeson Hall.
Call the Front Desk (541-346-9200) Phone hours are limited during weeks 1, 8, 9, and breaks. Leave a voicemail or message the front desk on Teams.
How Drop-In Advising Works
- 15-minute conversations on topics such as:
- Registration support
- Navigating UO resources
- Urgent needs, e.g., grade concerns, current term questions, upcoming deadline questions
- First-come, first-served
- Available in person, online via Microsoft Teams, or via phone
- Major and minor availability varies; check schedule below
Fall Term Drop-In Advising Schedule
Drop-in hours* are organized by major divisions: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. Unsure what division your major or minor falls under? Please review the advising structure here. If you have majors or minors in multiple divisions, start with the one you have the most urgent questions about.
