Explore Health Pathways

We know that choosing the right pre-health pathway for you can seem overwhelming. To assist in the process, our program provides 30-minute pre-health exploratory conversations. Pre-health advisors are equipped to discuss various health careers. In addition, they assist students in developing plans to help in their exploration process and provide them with the right tools and resources to achieve their goals. Engagement Opportunities

Healthcare related and non-healthcare related engagement is key to exploring the various health professions. In fact, certain health careers may even require you to gain extracurricular experiences such as shadowing (observation) or direct patient care hours prior to applying. Not only will it allow you to solidify which career path aligns best with your values, strengths, and interest, but you will be gaining resume enhancement opportunities along the way to make your graduate school application stronger.

While not exhaustive, the list of resources below can help you begin to identify enriching opportunities on- and off-campus. Additional opportunities are listed in the Resource Page.

For interest in Job Shadowing and Information Interview, pre-health advisors are here to help scaffold the process on how to land these opportunities.
