Deirdre Lannon earned her PhD in history at UT Austin, working with Jacqueline Jones & H.W. Brands. Her research and teaching focus on 19^th and 20^th century US social and cultural history, including radicalism/social movements, music history, and the Puerto Rican diaspora.
