Why did you join USAB?: As an out-of-state student who has worked on campus, participated in student organizations, studied abroad, and engaged in experiential learning, like the Environmental Leadership Program, I joined CAS USAB to advocate for students with diverse experiences. I solicit the college be more inclusive, supportive, and responsive to student needs.

Why did you join USAB?: I am a senior in Classics, concentrating in Greek and Latin; I have worked at an Etruscan archeological site, and enjoy all things ancient history. After graduation, I plan to gain work experience before pursuing a career in cultural heritage law. I joined USAB to foster a welcoming, accepting, and collaborative community for all CAS students.

Why did you join USAB?: I am a third-year Political Science and Environmental Studies student, minoring in Philosophy. As a Wayne Morse Scholar, Fossil Free UO co-lead, and former SURF and Environmental Justice Fellow, I am interested in democratic practice and protecting liberal arts education. Outside academics, I am a waiter, skater, and Eugene community member.

I research absence epilepsy in the McCormick lab, founded the Literature in STEM (LIST) book club, tutor organic chemistry, I am president of Medicine & Ministry, and a phlebotomist at University Health Services. I joined the board to advocate for interdisciplinary coursework, administrative transparency, and improved communication.

Why did you join USAB?: I am a fourth-year Human Physiology student minoring Spanish. I am a research assistant on campus and will pursue a career in optometry post-graduation. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing sports, and spending time with my siblings and dogs. I joined USAB to bring awareness to issues underrepresented students face at UO, specifically within STEM.
