Statement

Donella-Elizabeth began her UO career as the Office Coordinator and Budget Manager for Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies (then called the Ethnic Studies Program), back in the fall of 2000. She graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University, with a BSE; before moving to Oregon in 1992, she was a high school english teacher. In October of ’22, she elected to take the role of Faculty Support Specialist, in Academic Support Unit #5. "This role allows me the opportunity to continue working with the faculty in IRES, and also grow relationships with the faculty in the other CAS units in our ASU. I'm truly enjoying learning about what more of our professors are studying/teaching from a closer perspective". When she is not handling her 'new' duties, (the various faculty reviews, promotion/tenure dossiers, and retirements, just to name a few), she can be found gardening, crafting, singing and acting in and around Eugene.
