What is the schedule for the 2023 CAS commencement ceremonies?

The College will hold four undergraduate ceremonies that will be grouped by academic division and school, and one ceremony to confer master's and doctoral degrees. Please see the Ceremonies section for details about each ceremony.

When do I apply for my degree?

Can I participate in a graduation ceremony, i.e., “walk across the stage,” if I’m graduating in a future term?

You can walk if you are graduating in summer or fall 2023, or if you have 12 or fewer credits to complete before graduating.

I am a master's or PhD graduate; do I walk in a divisional ceremony?

MA and PhD candidates should walk in the MA and PhD ceremony. The divisional ceremonies will be targeted toward undergraduate students.

Do I need to participate in the ceremony to get my Degree?

No, in order to get your physical degree mailed to you, you just need to declare your intent to graduate through the UO Registrar’s office

Is there ADA seating available?
