Appointments are available via phone, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or In-Person throughout the academic year, including Winter, Spring and Summer breaks. We recommend scheduling your appointment early (during weeks 2-5). The College of Arts and Science Advising shifts to all staff on drop-in during week 7-9 for registration support. The pre-health advising team shifts to supporting the Natural Science Advising team during this period of time. Visit drop-in hours if you have an urgent question or need support with class scheduling.

UO Alumni:
UO Pre-Health Advising provides support to UO Alumni up to 3 years after graduation (exceptions made for first or second time applicants to a health-related graduate program). If you are a pre-health alumni and no longer have access to navigate for scheduling, please call our front desk at 541-346-9200 to schedule an appointment or email us with any general questions.

- Log into NAVIGATE: Use your Duck ID to login)
- Click on “Schedule an Appointment” in the upper right-hand corner
- Choose “College of the Arts and Sciences Academic Advising” in the first drop-down box.
- Select the appointment "topic" by selecting one of the following from the Pre-Health Advising drop-down list:
- Pre-Health – Exploring Pre-Health: Use if exploring health interests and have questions about where to start
- Pre-Health – Academic Questions: Use for questions about pre-requisites and academic readiness concerns (e.g. GPA or considering repeating a prerequisite).
- Pre-Health – Extracurricular Planning: Use this for questions around building a strong resume (e.g. volunteering, research, shadowing)
- Pre-Health – Preparing to Apply 30 Min OR Pre-Health - Prepare to Apply 60 Min: Use for questions about application components (entrance exams like the MCAT, application timing) or for questions about deciding where to apply, the process, and competitiveness. Please be sure to be mindful of our time by gauging whether you need the 30 minute or 1 hour appointment option.
- Pre-Health – Apply Now Questions: Use for specific questions about your application (e.g. submitting transcripts, entering coursework)
- Pre-Health – Grad Essay Review: Use for graduate admission essay reviews (e.g. personal statement, secondary essays, extracurricular descriptions)
