Biography

Parker Miraldi is a first-year PhD student working with Dr. Katelyn McDonough. His interests include native food plants, experimental archaeobotany, collaborative research methods, and incorporating archaeological data into food sovereignty programs. He received his B.A. in Anthropology from Reed College and has previously worked in Australia, Cyprus, New Mexico, and Washington state. Outside of research Parker is an avid photographer, hiker, gardener, and home chef.
