While I am originally from New England, I lived on the Columbia Plateau for five years and fell in love with the high desert and history at the same time. My primary goals as an historian are to write about and support Native sovereignty. For the past few years, I have been working on Plateau history, sovereignty, and language, particularly Ichishkíin.
