Victoria Braun is the Managing Director of the Center for Translational Neuroscience. In addition to managing the operations of CTN, Victoria and her team of project managers launch and manage large-scale research grants and other projects. Victoria has managed a robust project portfolio including over $22,000,000 in funded projects. Other projects include launching a new master's degree program, developing structured Research Assistant training and mentorship, extensive training in leadership, mentorship, personnel management, and team building. She is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), as well as an MRI Operator at the Lewis Center for NeuroImaging. Victoria considers her most accurate job title to be "Science Doula".
Prior to the University of Oregon, Victoria was a Health Promotion Specialist at Washington State University, managing University suicide prevention efforts and promoting health and wellbeing in students. Victoria got her master’s from Oregon State University, focusing in social cognitive psychology and Buddhist philosophy.
