PSYCHOLOGY - The College of Arts and Sciences’ Center on Brain Injury Research and Training (CBIRT) received a $1.3 million grant from Toyota Motor North America’s Way Forward Fund to develop, implement and evaluate support system aimed at helping students in San Antonio get the necessary family and school interventions for a successful recovery.

PSYCHOLOGY - Having a sleep disorder is linked to an increased risk of suicidal ideation in kids, teens and young adults, University of Oregon research finds. The study, co-led by Melynda Casement, associate professor of psychology at the University of Oregon, was published June 16 in the journal Sleep Health.

PSYCHOLOGY - The language that adolescent girls use in texts and on social media reflects day-to-day changes in their moods, according to new research by a team of adolescent mental health researchers at the University of Oregon. The study was published in Clinical Psychological Science in January 2023.
PSYCHOLOGY - Jointly run by the College of Arts and Sciences and UO Online, the Online Master’s in Psychology Program allows its students to apply academics to practical settings while offering a flexible schedule. The priority application deadline for the next six-term program is Monday, May 15, for students entering in fall term.
PSYCHOLOGY- Alexa Wright, a psychology major in the College of Arts and Sciences, is one of two University of Oregon students awarded the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, a prized national award for research in the natural sciences, engineering and mathematics.
