Congratulations and welcome to CAS at UO! You may be excited to start talking with a CAS advisor about your major and classes, but there’s a few steps to complete first.
Confirm Your Enrollment
As a newly admitted undergraduate student, your first step is to confirm your decision to enroll.
Register for IntroDUCKtion
Once you’ve confirmed your decision, you’ll need to register for IntroDUCKtion (new student Orientation)
Ensure You’re Connected
Next is tech! This is an important step to make sure you can access email and register for classes.

Advising
Fall First-Years participating in on-campus IntroDUCKtion in the summer will meet with an advisor and register for classes while on campus.
All other incoming students (Transfer, Mid-Year, or Off-Site IntroDUCKtion attendees) will meet with an advisor virtually. To be eligible for advising, follow the steps above. You’ll receive an advising appointment invitation to your UO email address. When?
- Fall transfer and off-site students: Early July
- Admitted for winter term: Early December
- Admitted for spring term: Early March
- Admitted for summer term: Early June
