I'm a PhD student working on theoretical atomic physics and quantum information, coadvised by David Allcock and Steven van Enk. Specifically I'm interested in near-term quantum error correction techniques that can practically extend logical qubit lifetimes. On weekends I enjoy trips to the nearby cascade mountains and pacific coast. I'm an avid trail runner, hiker, biker, and skiier and will talk endlessly about mountains, rocks, trees, snow, lakes, etc. etc.
