Research Interests: computational learning theory: neural networks (perceptrons, transformers), prediction error, particle filter models, Rescorla-Wagner, exemplar / instance-based models
usage-based linguistic theory: mechanisms of language change, frequency effects, probabilistic grammar
inferential statistics: logistic regression, hierarchical inference, conditional inference trees and random forests
language production: speech errors, disfluencies
