Research

Prof Harlow is an electrochemist with a focus on fundamental research, devleoping knowlege about structure function relationships and reaction pathways. His research interests range from double layer structure to electrocatalysis and corrosion. He uses a variety of techniques to study electrochemical systems, including operando synchrotron-based techniques, single crystal electrodes, and surface x-ray diffraction. He is an expert in developing and applying new techniques to electrochemistry.
