I attended Eastern Washington University as a first-generation college student and graduated with my BS in chemistry in 2006. The following year, in 2007, I started the graduate program at the University of Utah and went on to earn my doctorate degree in Physical Chemistry in 2012. I have been teaching college chemistry for over 10 years and I am happiest when I am in the classroom learning from and collaborating with students.
I am also a women in STEM scholar and advocate and have dedicated my career to promoting and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the STEM fields.
