Biography

Chad Catron was born deaf to a deaf family. American Sign Language is his native language. He graduated with a B.A. in Deaf Education at California State University, Fresno. Chad has a Masters in Sign Language Education from Gallaudet University in Washington D.C.. Before coming to the University of Oregon Chad was an Adjunct Instructor at Fresno City College in California. Chad enjoys teaching American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. (You can spot him signing on campus. He also enjoys golfing and is a fan of James Bond).
