Biography

Kaito is a PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate student in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Oregon. His works focus on LGBTQ+ activism, decoloniality, Latin American studies, visual anthropology, queer/cuir studies, gender, sexuality, and race. Kaito is a Graduate Employee and a proud union member of the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation (GTFF-AFT Local 3544) and serves as the GTFF Vice-President for International Affairs for the 2024-25 academic year.
